Inside the hour: what happens between your message and your link

A typical request, minute by minute: the brief, the search, the human check, the listing and the email. And where to watch it happen.

A wristwatch resting on a wooden desk, marking the hour

"One message. One hour. One link." is the promise, but what fills the hour? Here is a typical request, told minute by minute. The times are illustrative; some requests move faster, a few need a question back from us first. The shape, though, is always the same: a brief, a search, a human check, a listing, an email.

Minute 0 to 5: your message becomes a brief

Your request arrives from feelbetter.agency or from the shop's request page. A photo of a ceramic mug, say, with the note "the blue one, two of them, by Friday". The moment it lands, it gets a reference number, something like FB-00012, and its status page shows received. You get a confirmation email with that number.

Then AI reads what you sent and drafts a brief: what the item seems to be, which variant, how many, the budget if you gave one, the deadline, the delivery country. A concierge reads the brief, fixes anything the AI got wrong and adds what only a person would notice, such as that the mug in your photo is from a specific studio's seasonal line.

Minute 5 to 20: candidates

The status moves to sourcing. AI searches official stores, authorised retailers and marketplaces that ship to your country, and comes back with a shortlist: a few listings with price, currency, stock and shipping noted. It is quick and wide, which is exactly what AI is good at. It is not the final answer.

Minute 20 to 40: a person opens the seller page

This is the part we will not automate. A concierge opens the best candidate and reads the page the way a careful buyer would. Is this the official or an authorised seller? Is the item actually in stock? Is it the blue one, not the teal? Is the price on the page the price the search showed, in the currency it claims? Does it ship to you, or to a forwarder we can use? Is there a return policy? Is it an auction about to end, or a private resale? If any answer is wrong, we move to the next candidate. The full list is in how we verify a seller.

Once a candidate passes, the concierge works out the price you will see: the seller's price converted to Korean won, plus our 10% service fee (minimum ₩5,000), plus a shipping estimate of ₩3,000 within Korea or ₩18,000 international. For overseas items, customs duties are quoted when we know them.

Minute 40 to 60: the listing and the email

We create a private product page for your find on shop.feelbetter.agency: the item, the right variant, the quantity, the full price, and the seller named under the "Verified seller" badge. The status becomes listed. Then the email goes out with one link, and the status becomes sent. When you check out, it moves to ordered, and from there the store's order emails take over.

If you want to see where things are at any point, open feelbetter.agency/r/ followed by your reference number. The same number works on the contact page if you have a question. And if we cannot find the item, or the only listings fail our checks, we tell you that instead of sending a weak link. One honest "not yet" is worth more than a link you cannot trust.

FAQ

Where can I watch my request progress?

On the agency site: feelbetter.agency/r/ followed by your reference number, for example FB-00012. The steps are received, sourcing, listed, sent and, after you check out, ordered.

What if you can't find it within the hour?

Some requests need a question back, say a size, or the item is out of stock everywhere we can verify. In those cases we write to you with what we found and what we need. We do not send a link we have not checked.

Does the AI pick the final link?

No. AI drafts the brief and gathers candidates. A concierge opens the seller page, runs the checks and decides what goes on your link.
