About this product
Sanrio's lazy egg Gudetama as a playable Otamatone: officially licensed, with a song sheet to get you started.
Maywa Denki's Otamatone is one of Japan's most loved portable synthesizer toys, and this officially licensed special edition wears Sanrio's Gudetama. We buy it from an authorised seller in the United States after you order, check the edition before it goes out, and ship it to you with tracking.
Highlights
- Touch or slide a finger along the stem to change the pitch, and squeeze the cheeks for vibrato.
- Low, medium and high pitch settings let friends play together in harmony.
- Compact at about 27 cm (10.6 in), so it travels easily for music on the move.
- Officially licensed Sanrio Gudetama design from the Otamatone range of more than 30 characters.
- Comes with a song sheet and English instructions for your first tunes.
- Runs on 3 AAA alkaline batteries (not included): switch it on and play.
How to play it
Press a finger on the stem: the position sets the note, and sliding glides between notes. Squeeze the silicone cheeks to open the mouth for a wah or vibrato sound. It can be set to low, medium or high pitch, so several Otamatones can play in harmony.
Size and power
This is the standard-size Otamatone: about 6.7 × 27 × 13.3 cm (W 2.63 × H 10.62 × D 5.23 in) and about 190 g. It needs three AAA alkaline batteries, which are not included, so have a set ready when it arrives.
